Duane “DaRock” Ramos was destined to be a music legend. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Duane DaRock’s grandfather, Tarnarse Ramos, was a famous upright bass player that performed along such legends as Duke Ellington. At the age of fifteen, Duane DaRock started rapping and performing up and down the east coast. While showcasing at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, he was discovered by Kevin and Amelia Moore, of the Moore foundation. His undeniable
talent earned him the opportunity to work with Whitney Houston.


Duane DaRock enjoyed some moderate success in the early 90’s and eventually moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to expand his career where he unveiled a true talent as a producer. Big Daddy Kane was one of Duane DaRock’s earliest clients. Thanks to his skill and an intuitive understanding of what’s hot in music, Duane DaRock’s clientele over the last 20 years includes dozens of Hip Hop’s legends and royalty. His musical savviness has landed him deals producing tracks and remixing songs for heavy hitters in the industry ranging from LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Common and Jay-Z to Tatiyana Ali, The Pussycat Dolls, Faith Evans and Shaquille O'Neal. He also remixed “Enough Crying” for Mary J. Blige. Another remix he did for Wisen Y Yandel, “Rakata”, spent 5 weeks at the top of the Latin music charts. Recognizing the depth of the Latin market, Duane DaRock released Puro Fuego, his own Latin Hip Hop compilation album, in 2007.


As one of the most established producer-writers in music today, Duane DaRock continues to shine. With “Letter to Big”, co-written by Duane DaRock and performed by Jadakiss featuring Faith Evans, Duane DaRock’s music broke into film as part of the soundtrack of Notorious, which was nominated for the World Soundtrack Award in 2009. He also has a collaboration with Jadakiss, called “Bottle Service” and produced “She Likes Me” featuring Nicki Minaj. Additionally, Duane DaRock has produced a song on Jim Jones ft. Teyana Taylor & Cam’ron titled “Party Tonight”. He just recently collaborated with Bobby Valentino on a song titled “Get to Know U” in 2012. Now in 2013 Duane DaRock has recently place his song called “Aint Looking Back” In score of the movie “Let Me Explain” Starring Kevin Hart. Also in 2014 He produced a song called “Going All In” Duane DaRock Ft Styles P & Cassidy.

In 2015 Duane DaRock Is dropping his mixtape called Da Resume Vol 2. It features artists Nicki Minaj, Jim Jones, Teyanna Taylor, Jadakiss , Styles P, Pit Bull, Cassidy, Camron, His first single is Called “That Feelin”he is the artist on that song. He is dropping a new song called ‘She Want That” Ft Jadakiss & Styles P off “Da Resume” Mixtape Vol 2 always seeking ways to challenge his creativity Duane DaRock continues to stay on the razor’s edge of new music. His eyes always focused on the future, Duane DaRock established his own Hip Hop, R&B and Pop record label, called Radiant Music Group "This is a new decade.
